Butterflies in the Garden: An Idyllic Delight

Yellow, pink, blue and white

That’s all I’m seeing in this garden of light

I sit on the bench and enjoy the jasmine scent as the butterflies make their wonderful descent.

They perch upon my shoulders and some drift to my hair

Oh my I thought I just saw a deer

It’s raining butterflies

Yellow ,pink ,blue and white

That’s all I’m seeing in this garden of light

I wonder how they got here ?

Since their beginning was not such of a delight

They crept, crawled, some were even trampled upon

Still some made it to the end of something pristine and beautiful
