Imagine in the beginning there was darkness, then light hovered over the darkness. There then came a sound, perfect in pitch, tone, and modulation which vibrated the very core of the darkness. One phrase came fourth: let there be. Then came light; day and night in fact. Then there was sky, land, sea and earth; you get the picture. Perfect words, spoken with such authority that molded nothingness into something material. Our words have power, they can create, and they can destroy. There are many stories in the bible where words brought healing, brought restoration, and provided hope and peace. Indeed, a soft answer turns away wrath. Let’s practice saying: I forgive you and watch what happens. I promise you that if you say it often enough, you will eventually see a miracle. Hearing the words you are forgiven gives life. Jesus on the cross said from His own mouth, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. If you are a Christian today, this could only be made possible by those very words. Jesus’ words provide eternal life once we accept that He is indeed our Lord. However, if you are not a Christian as yet, please note that forgiveness is already on your plate; just come to the table, because Jesus is waiting patiently and lovingly for you.
Words have power, and God has given us the authority to speak life or death. What we have is because of what we speak. If you are a person who desires to make a change, you can use your words to move mountains. Just keep speaking right words and trusting God. Perhaps you may have realized that you have not been using your words in responsible ways. I am here to tell you that the Word of God says that He is always ever merciful, ever loving and most importantly, wants us to change for the better. Your words have power and God’s word is the most powerful. Can you imagine what would happen if we began to speak more God-Words? You are destined for greatness, for the Word of God spoke you into existence. Shalom!

Such an important truth, words do indeed bless or curse. It is an awesome responsibility, and an awesome gift.
This is indeed powerful. I shall say "I forgive you", and see God's goodness in my life!
